ABOUT US
Quinn and Micaela met at Middlebury College in Vermont in 2018 when their friend Pratt* suggested that they study together at the local tea house. They hit it off--but Micaela promptly left town to attend back-to-back study abroad programs in Peru and Costa Rica. When she returned in Fall 2019, the two started dating. Following graduation from Middlebury, they spent the summer of 2020 in Bend, Oregon, where they washed their dishes in an unfinished bathroom sink and spent weekends in the Three Sisters Mountains.
In 2020, they moved to Golden, Colorado and adopted cat Sibyl. They convinced best friend Will* to move in with them, and passed the days sledding on South Table Mountain and tending to their fish tanks. In 2021, Quinn moved to Seattle to start a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Washington. In 2022, Micaela started medical school at CU Anschutz in Aurora, Colorado. Over the course of four years of living in different cities, Quinn and Micaela found time to get together and explore the mountain west (and the world beyond). Finally, Quinn moved back to Colorado to live with Micaela while he wrote his dissertation in early 2025. ​
